Patty Lerner is a mediator, leader and someone who will get the job done. She has held leadership roles in business, volunteer organizations, and as Trustee for the Pleasant Valley School District.

For nearly three decades, Patty has committed her time and leadership skills to support education at all levels of the Pleasant Valley School District. She has served as a classroom volunteer, PTA president at the school site and district council levels, member of the Budget, Realignment and Secondary Education Committees and Chairperson of the PVSD Citizen’s Oversight Committee for Measure C. In 2006 Patty was elected for one term as Trustee to the Pleasant Valley School District Board. In 2021 she was unanimously appointed as a Trustee for PVSD.

PVSD Trustee accomplishments in this past year:

• Students and staff were able to successfully return to campus for full-time learning.
• Provided full-time online learning and independent study options for those families not ready to return to in person learning.
• Established common dismissal time for TK – 5 students.
• Reissued Measure C bonds, saving taxpayers $2 million in interest payments.
